Sennheiser EW-DX SKM-S (S1-10) Handheld transmitter with Switch

The Sennheiser EW-DX SKM-S (S1-10) is a digital UHF handheld microphone transmitter with a programmable mute switch, intended for presenters, panel moderators, worship leaders and MCs who need to mute themselves between speeches. It is part of Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital EW-DX series, the multi-channel, rack-oriented step up from EW-D, and works with EW-DX EM 2, EM 2 Dante and EM 4 Dante receivers. This S1-10 version covers 606.2 to 693.8 MHz, so check the band is permitted where you operate. It delivers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz audio bandwidth, 134 dB dynamic range and 1.9 ms latency, with Bluetooth Low Energy for app-based setup and sync. It accepts Sennheiser's exchangeable microphone modules (for example the MMD 835, MMD 845, MMD 935/945, MME 865 or MM 435/445) and is sold without a capsule, so the module is chosen and purchased separately. Power comes from two AA batteries or the BA 70 rechargeable pack, it operates from -10 to +55 degrees C, and it measures 40 x 200 mm without a module (50 x 268 mm with an MMD 835 fitted). The switch function can be configured, so it can also be locked out when not wanted.
