Sennheiser GZL 1019-A1 Co-axial Connecting Cable, BNC/BNC

More Info

The Sennheiser GZL 1019-A1 (article 002324) is a 1 m, 50 ohm coaxial cable fitted with a BNC connector on each end. Sennheiser specifies it for connecting and daisy-chaining the radiators and modulators of its infrared assistive-listening and interpretation systems, for example running the signal from a modulator to the first infrared radiator and then on to the next one in a chain. Being standard 50 ohm RG 58-type coax with BNC plugs, it is also commonly used as a short antenna extension or jumper for Sennheiser wireless receivers and antenna distribution equipment. The 1 m length suits connections within an equipment rack or between devices mounted close together; Sennheiser also lists 5 m (GZL 1019-A5) and 10 m (GZL 1019-A10) versions for longer runs. It is a simple, robust passive cable with no power or electronics, and is typically chosen by installers of conference, church, theatre and hearing-assistance systems who want the manufacturer's own cable to match the rest of a Sennheiser installation. Note that price and packaging may reflect a single cable.
