Sennheiser GZL RG 8X - 10m Low Damping Coaxial Cable with BNC Connector

The Sennheiser GZL RG 8x - 10m (article 700164) is a 10 m low-damping coaxial antenna cable with a BNC connector at each end, used to connect remote or directional antennas to Sennheiser wireless receivers, antenna splitters, boosters and in-ear monitor transmitters. Moving antennas out of an equipment rack and into clear line of sight of the performers is one of the most effective ways to improve the range and reliability of a wireless microphone or IEM system, and the RG 8x construction keeps signal loss lower than thinner RG 58 cable over the same run. Sennheiser rates it for use up to 4,000 MHz with 50 ohm impedance, 82 pF/m capacitance and a maximum attenuation of 16.8 dB per 100 m at 400 MHz, which works out to under 2 dB over this 10 m length at typical UHF wireless frequencies. The cable is 6.8 mm in diameter and works from -40 to 70 degrees C, suiting touring, installation and outdoor use. It is covered by Sennheiser's two-year warranty.
