The Sennheiser IE 100 PRO Red is a wired professional in-ear monitor used by vocalists, instrumentalists, drummers, DJs and sound engineers on stage, in rehearsal and in the studio, as well as for critical everyday listening. Each earpiece uses a single dynamic 10 mm broadband transducer, which avoids crossover phase problems and gives a full, detailed sound with solid low end, clear mids and smooth highs, tuned for accurate monitoring rather than hyped bass. The slim ergonomic housings sit close to the ear and, with the supplied silicone and foam ear tips, give good isolation from stage noise. The stage-proof cable is detachable, so a damaged cable can be replaced rather than the whole set. Frequency response is 20 to 18,000 Hz, impedance 20 ohms, maximum sound pressure level 115 dB and distortion below 0.1 percent. This red version is the wired set, supplied with a 1.3 m cable, a soft pouch and small, medium and large ear adapters. A Bluetooth module is sold separately.
