Sennheiser MD 435 Dynamic Cardioid Handheld Microphone, XLR-3M

The Sennheiser MD 435 is a premium dynamic handheld vocal microphone that brings a more open, detailed, studio-like sound to the stage. Like its sister model the MD 445, it uses a newly developed lightweight aluminium-copper voice coil for fast transient response, but pairs it with a cardioid pickup pattern that is more forgiving for singers who move around the microphone and prefer a balanced, natural tone. A spring-mounted capsule reduces handling noise, a hum compensation coil guards against electromagnetic interference, and the all-metal body is built for touring. Frequency response is 40 Hz to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 1.8 mV/Pa, nominal impedance 245 ohms and a 3-pin XLR-M output; there is no on/off switch. It measures 47.5 mm in diameter by 181 mm long and weighs about 350 g. It suits lead vocals, speech and worship use; the MM 435 capsule offers the same sound on Sennheiser wireless handheld transmitters.
