The Sennheiser MKE 400 Mobile Kit (article 509257) packages the second-generation MKE 400 compact shotgun microphone with a Sennheiser smartphone clamp and a Manfrotto PIXI mini tripod, giving vloggers, content creators and mobile journalists a complete phone-based recording rig. The MKE 400 is a super-cardioid pre-polarised condenser with integrated windscreen and internal shock mount to cut wind and handling noise, a low-cut filter, a three-step sensitivity switch and a headphone output with volume control, and it connects to cameras or phones via 3.5 mm TRS/TRRS. The smartphone clamp has a cold shoe for the microphone and holds the phone in portrait or landscape, while the PIXI tripod has a push-button locking ball head. The microphone runs over 100 hours on two 1.5 V batteries (included). Response is 50 - 20,000 Hz, max SPL 132 dB; the mic measures 126 x 67 x 37 mm and weighs 93.5 g. Smartphone not included.
