Sennheiser MKE 400 Rifle Microphone for Semi-professional Cameras, 3.5mm Stereo Mini Jack

The Sennheiser MKE 400 (article 508898, second generation) is a compact super-cardioid shotgun microphone for DSLR and mirrorless cameras and for smartphones, aimed at vloggers, content creators and mobile journalists. Its highly directional pre-polarised condenser capsule isolates the voice from background noise, and it has integrated wind protection and an internal suspension to cut handling noise. A built-in low-cut filter and three-step sensitivity switch adapt it to different environments, and a headphone output with volume control allows monitoring. Output is via a screw-locking 3.5 mm jack with interchangeable TRS and TRRS cables for cameras or phones, and it switches on and off automatically with a connected camera. It runs over 100 hours on two 1.5 V batteries (included). Response is 50 - 20,000 Hz, maximum SPL 132 dB; it measures 126 x 67 x 37 mm and weighs 93.5 g.
