Sennheiser MKE 600 Video Camera Super Cardioid Microphone, Shockmount, Foam Windshield

Sennheiser MKE 600 Video Camera Super Cardioid Microphone, Shockmount, Foam Windshield
More Info

The Sennheiser MKE 600 is a shotgun microphone for video cameras, camcorders and DSLR/mirrorless cameras, widely used for documentary, event, film and news work. Its supercardioid/lobar pickup pattern captures sound from where the camera is pointing while strongly rejecting noise from the sides and rear. A switchable low-cut filter reduces wind noise and low-frequency rumble. Because not all cameras supply phantom power, the MKE 600 runs either on 48 V phantom power or on an internal AA battery for approximately 150 hours, with a battery on/off switch and a "Low Batt" indicator. Frequency response is 40 - 20,000 Hz and equivalent noise is 15 dB(A) with P48. The all-metal housing is 20 mm in diameter and 256 mm long and weighs 128 g. It is supplied with a foam windshield, shock mount and adapter cable for cameras with a 3.5 mm input; the battery is not included.
