The Sennheiser MMD 945-1 BK (article 502579) is a dynamic super-cardioid microphone head for Sennheiser wireless handheld transmitters. Sennheiser describes it as having especially high feedback rejection and a consistent pick-up pattern that gives vocals a lot of space and a full, voluminous sound - the character of the wired e 945. It screws onto the handheld in place of the existing capsule and is compatible with handhelds from ew G3, ew G4, D1, AVX, SpeechLine Digital Wireless and the 2000 series. The tight super-cardioid pattern isolates the performer from other on-stage signals, which is useful on loud stages with wedge monitors. Frequency response is 40 - 18,000 Hz and sensitivity 1.8 mV/Pa. The head is black, 50.5 mm in diameter and 77.3 mm long, and weighs about 119 g.
