The Sennheiser MZ 1 is the accessory kit for the MKE 1 miniature lavalier microphone, giving broadcast, theatre, film and presentation users every common mounting and wind-protection option in one clear storage box. It lets the tiny MKE 1 capsule be clipped to clothing, hidden under a tie or lapel, fixed magnetically, or pinned through fabric, in black or white to suit the wardrobe, and it provides windshields in several colours to blend with skin tones or clothing. According to Sennheiser the kit contains an MZK 1 transparent accessory box, two MZQ 1 mini clips (white and black), two MZQ 10 mini clamps (white and black), two MZM 1 magnetic mounts (white and black), an MZV 1 transparent cover-up, two ZH 1 pin mounts (white and black), two MZW 01 windshield baskets (black and beige) and four MZW 02 foam windshields (black, beige, brown and white). The packed kit measures about 151 x 108 x 39 mm and weighs around 120 g. The microphone itself is not included.
