Sennheiser MZA 900 P Phantom Power Adapter, XLR 3, 3.5mm Jack Socket

The Sennheiser MZA 900 P (article 500226) is a phantom power adapter that lets a pre-polarised condenser microphone with a locking 3.5 mm jack - the type used with Sennheiser evolution wireless bodypacks, such as clip-on or headset mics - plug straight into a standard XLR microphone input with 10 - 52 V phantom power (P12 to P48). The adapter supplies the microphone from the phantom power and converts its output to balanced XLR. It is a quick way to use the same microphone both wirelessly and wired, for example in the studio, and Sennheiser notes it can also be used as a cable tester for XLR microphone cables. A sister version, the MZA 900 P-4, has a 3-pin special socket instead. Specifications: 20 - 20,000 Hz, gain 0 / -12 dB, 3-pin XLR output, 23 x 103 mm, about 60 g, operating -20 to +60 °C.
