The Sennheiser MZH 30 B (article 005090) is a black ceiling hanger for suspending Sennheiser's ME 34, ME 35 and ME 36 microphone heads above a stage, altar, lectern, choir or boardroom table. Sennheiser describes it as a metal ceiling mount for attaching and directing these capsules: it is a formed wire hanger with a coiled section, so the microphone can be hung discreetly from a ceiling tile or rigging point and bent to aim it at the source below. Ceiling-hung microphones keep tables and stages clear of stands and cables, which is why they are popular in houses of worship, theatres, lecture rooms and conference rooms. The black finish blends in with dark ceilings and stage rigging; a white version (MZH 30 W) is sold separately for light ceilings. The hanger weighs only about 21 g. The microphone head, its connecting module and cabling are not included and must be ordered separately. It is covered by Sennheiser's two-year warranty and is supplied by AV Distribution in South Africa.
