The Sennheiser MZH 3015 (article 005074) is a short 150 mm metal gooseneck in matt black from the SpeechLine / ME 30 installation series. It connects a Sennheiser ME 34, ME 35 or ME 36 miniature condenser capsule (sold separately) to a mixer, DSP or conferencing system and is intended for discreet speech pickup on lecterns, conference tables, reception counters and council or courtroom desks where a low-profile microphone is wanted. The gooseneck has one flexible section for positioning the capsule, and a balanced, floating XLR-3 output so the capsule can be powered from 12 to 48 V phantom power. RF shielding guards against interference and intermodulation from mobile phones and wireless systems. At about 73 g it is light enough for table flanges and shock-mounts. The 400 mm MZH 3040 is available for installations where the talker is further from the mounting point.
