The Sennheiser MZQ 600 is the microphone stand clip made for Sennheiser's MKE 600 shotgun microphone. It lets the MKE 600, a popular short shotgun for video, film and broadcast work, be mounted on a standard microphone stand, a boom arm or other studio or location hardware when it is not being used on a camera shoe or a boom pole shock mount. The clip is a black plastic cradle shaped to take the MKE 600's slim body, with a hinged joint and a large wing screw so the angle can be set and locked quickly, and it carries the Sennheiser logo on the side. According to Thomann the base has a 3/8 inch thread for mounting. It is useful as a replacement for a lost or damaged original clip, or as a second clip for productions that move the microphone between set-ups, such as interviews, podcasts, voice-over and foley recording. Supplied as a single clip; the microphone, stand and any thread adapter are not included.
