The Sennheiser MZW 4032-A is a replacement foam windshield for Sennheiser handheld vocal microphones. Sennheiser lists it for the MD 42, MD 46, MD 425, MD 431 II and all evolution e 800 and e 900 Series vocal microphones. It reduces wind noise and breath pops when singing or speaking close to the microphone and also protects the grille from dust and saliva, which helps hygiene when a microphone is shared between presenters or performers. The delivery includes a set of identification rings in five colours (red, yellow, blue, green and black), which slip onto the microphone so several otherwise identical handhelds can be told apart on a busy stage or in a broadcast studio. The windshield is anthracite in colour, weighs about 13 g, is 102 mm long and about 63 mm in diameter.
