Sennheiser Pair of Half Wave Dipole (S) Antenna BNC, For EW-D Receivers, 606-706MHz

More Info

The Sennheiser Half Wave Dipole (S), article 508870, is a pair of rod antennas for Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital (EW-D) receivers operating in the S frequency range. Half-wave dipole antennas replace the short stock antennas when a better or more consistent radio link is needed, for example on larger stages, in halls or when the receiver sits in a rack at the side of a venue. They are omnidirectional with vertical polarisation and a typical gain of +2 dBi, so they pick up transmitters from all around without needing to be aimed. Each antenna connects through a BNC male connector with no DC path and has 50 ohm impedance. Sennheiser's specification lists the S variant as a long antenna for 606 to 694 MHz, about 8.5 mm in diameter and 338 mm long, weighing roughly 46 g each. Always match the antenna band to the receiver's frequency range. Delivery includes two rod antennas. Operating temperature is -10 to +55 degrees Celsius.
