The Sennheiser SKM 835-XSW (article 507337, B range) is the handheld transmitter from Sennheiser's XS Wireless 1 and XS Wireless 2 analogue UHF systems, fitted with the e 835 dynamic cardioid capsule - the same capsule as Sennheiser's popular wired e 835 vocal microphone. It is aimed at singers, presenters, churches, schools and conference venues building or expanding an XSW system: pair it with an XSW 1 or XSW 2 receiver set to the same frequency range. This version operates in the B range, 614 - 638 MHz, so check that the receiver is also a B-range unit and that the frequencies are suitable for use in your area. The cardioid pattern gives good rejection of stage noise and feedback. It runs on two 1.5 V batteries, which Sennheiser lists as included. A receiver is not included.
