The Sennheiser SL Headmic 1 -4 BE is a beige headworn microphone from the SpeechLine range, designed specifically for speech in lecture halls, conference rooms, houses of worship and presentations. It uses the proven omnidirectional MKE 1 condenser capsule, so level stays consistent as the presenter turns their head, and it comes with an MZC 2 frequency-response cap and an SL MZW 1 windscreen. The adjustable neckband sits on a robust yet extremely light metal frame of about 7 g, making it comfortable for long sessions and unobtrusive on camera or on stage. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz (plus or minus 3 dB), equivalent noise 27 dB and maximum SPL 143 dB, with a nominal impedance of 1 kohm. It is intended for use with a wireless bodypack transmitter (sold separately); Sennheiser lists a 3-pin (LEMO) connector for this variant. A sturdy soft case, which also holds a bodypack transmitter, is included, along with the connection cable and instruction manual.
