The Sennheiser LA 2 (article 503162) is a charging adapter that lets Sennheiser handheld wireless microphone transmitters be recharged in the L 2015 charging unit. Sennheiser states that it allows all G3 handheld transmitters to be charged directly in the L 2015, and Thomann lists it for charging evolution wireless G3 and G4 SKM handhelds. The adapter fits the L 2015 charging unit so that a handheld transmitter, rather than a loose battery pack, can be placed in the charger. Using rechargeable packs with a charging bay cuts battery costs and waste for theatres, churches, schools, conference venues and rental companies that run several handheld microphones every day. The adapter is grey, weighs about 130 g and measures roughly 150 x 114 x 56 mm. It is sold on its own; the L 2015 charger, the BA 2015 battery packs and the microphones are separate. The supplier's listing also names the SKM 2000 handheld, which Sennheiser's page does not confirm. It carries Sennheiser's two-year warranty.
