The Sennheiser MZQ 3072 is an original Sennheiser spare part: an easy-release microphone stand clamp made from soft, flexible material, designed to hold Sennheiser's SKM 5000 series and SKM 3072 handheld wireless transmitters securely on a microphone stand. Because the clamp flexes, a presenter or singer can pull the handheld out of the holder quickly and drop it back in without unscrewing anything, while the rubber-like material grips the transmitter body without scratching it. It is a direct replacement for a lost, broken or worn clamp and is useful for rental companies, broadcasters, theatres and houses of worship that maintain fleets of Sennheiser professional wireless microphones. The clamp has a threaded stand fitting with a swivel joint for angling the microphone, weighs about 33 g and is marked 'Made in Germany'.
