The Sennheiser NT 12-35 CS (article 508995) is the external switching power supply used for the EW-D ASA active antenna splitter in the Evolution Wireless Digital range, and Sennheiser also lists it for the CHG 70N-C charger. It is sold as a spare or replacement for an installation where the original supply has been lost or damaged, or to keep a backup unit in a rental or touring kit. The supply is a desktop brick-style unit with a mains input cable and a DC output lead that plugs into the splitter, and Sennheiser supplies it including interchangeable country adapters, so the same unit can be used with different mains socket types. Keeping an antenna splitter powered is critical in multi-channel wireless systems: when the splitter loses power, every receiver fed by it loses its antenna signal. Theatres, churches, conference centres and AV rental companies running EW-D multi-channel rigs are the typical buyers. It carries Sennheiser's two-year warranty. Note: this is the power supply only; the EW-D ASA splitter itself is sold separately.
