The Sennheiser XSW 1-CI1-B is an all-in-one wireless instrument system for guitarists and bassists who want to leave the cable behind on stage. The set contains a stationary receiver, a compact bodypack transmitter and a rugged instrument cable, and is designed for quick setup: automatic frequency management and synchronisation via a remote channel pair the transmitter to the receiver at the touch of a button. This B-range version works in the 614 - 638 MHz band and offers up to 10 compatible channels, so several systems can run together. The receiver uses antenna-switching diversity with integrated antennas, and provides both a balanced XLR output (+12 dBu) and an unbalanced 6.3 mm jack output (+6 dBu). Audio frequency response is 50 - 16,000 Hz, signal-to-noise ratio at least 103 dB(A), and the transmitter's sensitivity is adjustable from 0 to -30 dB in 10 dB steps. The bodypack runs about 10 hours on two supplied AA batteries. The receiver measures approximately 200 x 42 x 127 mm.
