The Sennheiser XSW 1-ME3-B is an entry-level UHF wireless headset microphone system from the XS Wireless 1 range, designed for presenters, teachers, fitness instructors and performers who want simple, reliable hands-free audio without deep technical setup. The set combines an EM XSW 1 receiver, an SK XSW bodypack transmitter and the ME 3 cardioid headworn condenser microphone, operating in the B range of 614 to 638 MHz with 10 channels available. The double superheterodyne receiver has pilot-tone squelch, a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 103 dB(A), a switchable line/mic output level and both balanced XLR (+12 dBu) and unbalanced 6.3 mm jack (+6 dBu) outputs for direct connection to a PA, mixer or amplifier. Audio frequency response is 50 Hz to 16 kHz. The bodypack runs on two AA batteries for about 10 hours. The receiver measures approximately 200 x 42 x 127 mm.
