The Sennheiser XS Wireless 2 Instrument Set (XSW 2-CI1-B, article 507137) is an all-in-one UHF wireless system for guitarists and bassists, operating in the B range of 614 to 638 MHz. It pairs a stationary true-diversity receiver in a metal housing with a compact SK bodypack transmitter and a robust CI 1 instrument cable, so a player can leave the cable run behind on stage. The receiver's LCD display gives more manual control than XS Wireless 1, up to 12 compatible channels can run together, and automatic frequency management with synchronisation over a remote channel keeps setup quick. Audio frequency response is 50 Hz to 16 kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 103 dB(A), and the receiver offers a balanced XLR output (+12 dBu) plus an unbalanced 6.3 mm jack output (+6 dBu). The bodypack runs on two AA batteries (included) for around 10 hours. A rack-mount kit is included for installing the receiver in a 19-inch rack. Sennheiser covers the set with a two-year warranty.
