The Sennheiser XSW 2-ME3-B is a complete UHF wireless headset microphone system from the XS Wireless 2 range, set up for presenters, fitness instructors, worship leaders and performers who need hands-free speech or vocals. The set combines a half-rack EM XSW 2 receiver, an SK XSW bodypack transmitter and the ME 3 cardioid headworn condenser microphone. It operates in the B range of 614 to 638 MHz, so check local frequency regulations before use. The receiver is a double superheterodyne design with pilot-tone squelch, a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 103 dB(A), switchable line/mic output level and both a balanced XLR output (+12 dBu) and an unbalanced 6.3 mm jack output (+6 dBu), so it connects directly to a mixer or amplifier. Audio response is 50 Hz to 16 kHz. The bodypack runs on two AA batteries for about 10 hours. The receiver measures approximately 200 x 42 x 127 mm and can be rack-mounted with the optional XS Wireless rack kit.
