The Sennheiser XSW-D Portable Interview Set is a compact 2.4 GHz digital wireless kit that makes a dynamic handheld microphone wireless for interviews, vlogging and event videography. The XLR female transmitter plugs directly onto the bottom of a handheld dynamic mic, and the 3.5 mm mini-jack receiver sits on the camera's hot shoe using the supplied mount, feeding the camera's microphone input. Operation is one-touch: pairing is automatic, and either unit can mute the signal. The 2.4 GHz band is licence-free for worldwide use, range is up to 75 m in optimal conditions, and latency is under 4 ms. Built-in lithium-ion batteries give up to 5 hours of use and recharge in about 3 hours via USB. Audio frequency response is 80 - 18,000 Hz with a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 106 dB. The set includes the XSW-D XLR Female TX, XSW-D Mini Jack RX, hot shoe mount, coiled 3.5 mm cable and USB charging cable. Microphone not included.
