Sihl TrueColor Paper 180 matt (Sihl 3335) is a bright white, matt-coated 180 g/m2 speciality poster paper for wide-format inkjet printing, supplied here as a 914 mm (36-inch) wide roll, 30 m long, on a 50 mm (2-inch) core. It is designed for photorealistic posters and indoor display advertising such as event posters, customer stoppers, point-of-sale displays and promotional posters, and is also widely used for presentations, maps and imposition proofs. The FSC-certified paper prints well with water-based (aqueous dye and pigment) and UV-curable inks and is certified for latex inks. Sihl highlights good, non-reflective colour reproduction in all lighting conditions, very good contour sharpness and quick drying, while the 180 g/m2 weight gives very good flatness, high stiffness and a quality feel. The paper is 240 micron thick, acid-free, has a CIE whiteness of 155 and an opacity above 99%, so graphics on the back or wall behind barely show through. For best results store and convert it at 30 to 65% relative humidity and 10 to 30 degrees Celsius. It suits print shops, design studios and in-house reprographics.
