The Skyworth SS586 is a 5.1-channel home cinema soundbar system: a 960mm soundbar, a separate subwoofer and two wireless rear surround speakers, rated at 630W maximum output. It suits a lounge or TV room where you want genuine surround effects for movies, series and sport without wiring speakers across the floor - the surrounds link wirelessly and only need a power point. Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus decoding handle the audio from streaming apps and DStv, connected over HDMI ARC or optical. Bluetooth 5.0 (about 10m) streams music from a phone, a USB port plays MP3 files, and a 3.5mm aux input covers older devices. EQ presets for Music, Movie, News and Sport adjust the sound to the content. Quoted frequency response is 45Hz-20kHz with a 72dB signal-to-noise ratio, and the bar draws about 120W. Supplied in retail packaging with a remote and wall-mount kit (per reseller listings) and a 1-year limited warranty.
