This is an APC Smart-UPS SRT 3kVA rack-mount (RM) uninterruptible power supply running on 230V, from the same SRT double-conversion online UPS family as the SRT3000XLi listed elsewhere in this catalog -- designed to give servers and networking equipment continuously clean, regenerated power with zero transfer time on a mains failure, rather than simple battery-backup switching. This listing is distinguished mainly by its warranty terms: 3 years of repair-or-replace cover on the UPS unit itself, plus a separate 2-year warranty specifically on the battery (excluded from the main 3-year unit warranty since UPS batteries are a wear item with a shorter realistic service life than the electronics around them).
