The Solarix Deye 8kW PowerBoard Pro is Esquire's pre-built, wall-mounted board built around a Deye 8kW single-phase, 48V low-voltage hybrid inverter, a popular choice in South Africa for larger homes and small businesses that want grid-tied solar, battery backup and load management in one system. The Deye inverter delivers 8000W of pure sine wave output with dual high-voltage MPPT solar inputs, up to 190A battery charge/discharge current and efficiency of up to 97.6%, and works with both lithium and lead-acid batteries. It supports on-grid and off-grid operation, peak shaving and smart-load control, and is monitored via its LCD and a Wi-Fi dongle and app. The board comes pre-wired to an AC/DC-ready DB with a 40A AC UPS changeover, main, UPS and plug breakers, surge protection, a two-way DC fuse holder with a 125A DC disconnect fuse, an unpopulated DB ready for solar and a 16A emergency plug socket. A BMS communication cable is included; Esquire recommends a 48V 100Ah (4.8kWh) LiFePO4 battery. Batteries and panels are not included.
