The Solarix Sun 6.5kVA PowerBoard is a pre-wired, wall-mounted inverter system for medium homes and small businesses that want proper load-shedding backup with room for solar. At its heart is a 6.5kVA, 48V Solarix Sun pure sine wave hybrid inverter rated at 6200W output, with a high-voltage 120A MPPT solar charge controller (360V DC nominal, 500V DC maximum PV input), 100A maximum battery charge current and 230V AC input. It is factory-wired to an AC/DC-ready distribution board with a 40A AC UPS changeover, AC input circuit breaker, surge protection and a DC disconnect fuse, plus an unpopulated DB ready for solar. Esquire says only four wires need connecting to the existing DB, saving the installer around eight hours. Pair it with four 12V gel/AGM batteries or a 48V lithium pack; batteries, PV panels and accessories are sold separately, and a Wi-Fi dongle can be added. Wall bracket included; 12-month warranty.
