Sommer Cable SC-Goblin (article 200-0351) is a thin balanced patch and microphone cable with two 0.14 mm² conductors, sold by the metre from bulk. Its 4.6 mm outside diameter fits virtually all TT (bantam) and B-gauge patch-bay connectors, so it is used for studio patch leads, but it also serves as a high-quality mini microphone cable, for phono and RCA leads, long MIDI runs and interior rack wiring. The conductors are 18-strand 0.14 mm² (AWG 26) oxygen-free copper in PE insulation, and the screen combines a metallised fleece with a tin-plated helical copper mesh for 100 % coverage; Sommer notes that this dual screen and the special PVC jacket also give good tread resistance and tensile strength. Capacitance is 65 pF/m between conductors and 120 pF/m to the screen. It weighs about 24.4 g per metre, is UV resistant and is rated from -25 to +70 °C.
