Sommer Cable Patch & Microphone Cable SC-Peacock MKII; DMX: 2 x 0,22 sq. mm; S-PVC; 9,2 x 4,5 mm; black

Sommer Cable SC-Peacock MKII (200-0551) is a twin (side-by-side) patch and microphone cable with two separately screened pairs in one flat black S-PVC jacket measuring 9.2 x 4.5 mm. It is mainly used for wiring stereo microphones, insert leads, RCA and Y-split patch cables, and the two halves can be separated at any point, so a single line fits any jack, XLR or RCA connector. Each pair uses 0.22 mm² (AWG 24) oxygen-free copper conductors with foam PE insulation and a copper spiral screen with 95 % coverage, and the 110 Ω impedance makes it suitable for AES/EBU digital audio and DMX as well as analogue signals. Sommer quotes 70 pF conductor-to-conductor capacitance per metre, 92.5 Ω/km conductor resistance, a -25 to +80 °C temperature range, 53.6 g per metre and CPR class Fca. It suits studios, stage and installation work where tidy stereo runs are needed.
