Sommer Cable SC-Vector Plus 0.8L/3.7DZ (601-0181) is a compact 75 Ω coaxial video cable for HD and UHD SDI signals, built for mobile and outdoor use. It has a 0.80 mm (AWG 20) oxygen-free copper centre conductor with skin-foam-skin PE insulation of 3.70 mm, double tinned copper braid screening (95 %) and a 6.1 mm black PUR jacket that is notch-resistant, UV-resistant, heat-resistant and stays flexible down to -40 °C. Sommer rates it for HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 12G-SDI and HD-TVI camera systems and for S/PDIF digital audio, with a velocity factor of 0.8 and a maximum 3G-SDI (SMPTE 425M) run of 94 m without connectors. The small diameter suits compact cable drums, ducts and camera rigs, and it terminates with standard 0.8/3.7 BNC connectors; the pricelist suggests the Neutrik NBNC75BJP9X. It is used in broadcast, OB vans, studios and events.
