This Stage Plus flightcase is a 6U, deep-bodied 19-inch rack case intended for power amplifiers and other deep rack equipment. Six rack units (6U, roughly 267 mm of panel height) is enough for several 1U or 2U amplifiers, processors or wireless receivers stacked together, and the deep version gives room for long amplifier chassis plus rear cabling. Rental companies, PA hire firms, bands, churches and installers use rack flightcases like this so amplifiers can be pre-wired, transported and set up as a single unit: open the covers, connect mains and speaker lines, and the rack is ready. Stage Plus is a South African maker of hard transit cases for the live-event, broadcast and rental industry and describes its cases as heavy duty, designed to protect gear in the live environment while staying as light as possible. The case is supplied empty - amplifiers, rack screws for your equipment and any rear-support hardware beyond what ships with the case are not included. If your amplifier is unusually deep or heavy, check its depth and weight against the case with AV Distribution before ordering.
