This Stage Plus flight case (SP-FLI-2UAS) is a 19-inch rack case sized for a 2U power amplifier, in a deep format to suit full-depth amplifiers, with a shock-mounted rack frame. In a shock-mount case the inner rack is suspended from the outer shell, so knocks and vibration during loading, trucking and handling are absorbed before they reach the amplifier, which protects heavy transformers, circuit boards and connectors. Stage Plus is a South African manufacturer of road cases for rental and staging, touring, broadcast and installation work, and its flight cases are generally built to order. This is the shock-mount version of the Stage Plus 2U amp deep case (the non-shock-mount case carries the code SP-FLI-2UA). Detailed dimensions, construction and hardware were not available from Stage Plus at the time of listing, so please check the internal depth against your amplifier before ordering. Typical users are sound companies, bands and venues moving amplifiers between gigs.
