The Stage Plus Flightcase for 4U Amp, Deep, Shock Mount is a road case built by South African case maker Stage Plus to transport and operate four rack units of 19-inch equipment, sized with extra depth for power amplifiers and other deep rack devices. In a shock-mount rack case the inner 19-inch rack frame is suspended inside the outer case on shock absorbers rather than being fixed rigidly to the shell, which isolates the equipment from the jolts and vibration of trucks, loading docks and airline handling. This makes it a common choice for touring sound companies, rental houses and churches that move amplifiers, DSP units or wireless receivers regularly. Stage Plus flight cases are made locally to a heavy-duty touring specification, and the company also builds custom sizes, foam interiors and colour options on request. Confirm the usable rack depth against your amplifier's depth before ordering.
