This Stage Plus premade data cable is a 5 m DMX lighting control cable terminated with genuine Amphenol 5-pin XLR connectors: an AC5M male on one end and an AC5F female on the other. It is built on Sommer Cable's Binary cable, a black twisted-pair data cable designed for DMX512 and digital audio signals, which keeps the correct impedance for reliable data over long runs. Five-pin XLR is the connector specified by the DMX512 standard, so this lead links lighting consoles, dimmers, moving heads, LED fixtures, splitters and wireless DMX transceivers.
