This Stage Plus premade power cable (SP-CABH731S16PS16C02) is a 2 m mains lead made up by Stage Plus in South Africa using H07-rated rubber flexible cable with three 1.5 mm² cores. According to the supplier's listing it has a 16 A 'Janus' connector at one end and a standard South African plug top at the other. Stage Plus fabricates power cables for live events, stages and temporary installations, and uses H07RN-F rubber cable for its trailing and distribution cables, a heavy-duty, oil-resistant and flexible type suited to being walked on, coiled and used outdoors, in contrast to ordinary PVC extension cable. Three cores of 1.5 mm² (live, neutral and earth) are the usual size for 16 A single-phase leads over short runs like this 2 m length. Typical uses are powering amplifiers, lighting, backline and distribution boxes on stage or in venues. Stage Plus also offers SA plug-top extension cables in 1 to 20 m lengths and custom lengths on request. Please confirm the exact 16 A connector type with us before ordering if you need it to mate with specific equipment.
