This Stage Plus premade power cable (SP-CABH731S16PS16C05) is a 5 m mains lead made up by Stage Plus in South Africa using H07-rated rubber flexible cable with three 1.5 mm2 cores (live, neutral and earth). According to the supplier's listing it has a 16 A 'Janus' connector at one end and a standard South African plug top at the other. Stage Plus fabricates power cables for live events, stages and temporary installations, using H07RN-F-type rubber cable for trailing and distribution leads: a heavy-duty, flexible type made to be walked on, coiled, and used outdoors, unlike ordinary PVC extension flex. A lead like this feeds power from a wall socket or distribution box to lighting, audio or video equipment on stage, at a DJ booth or at an exhibition stand. The 5 m length covers typical runs from a socket to equipment on a stage or truss base. Load should stay within the rating of the plug top and socket in use.
