This Stage Plus premade power cable is a 15 m mains extension lead made with H07 rubber-sheathed cable of 3 x 1.5 mm², terminated with a 16 A Janus connector on one end and a plug top on the other. H07 rubber flexible cable is the type specified for demanding temporary power on stages, film sets, outdoor events and workshops, because its rubber jacket stays flexible and resists abrasion, oil and weather better than ordinary PVC extension cord. Three cores of 1.5 mm² cover live, neutral and earth. A lead like this is used to run mains power from a wall socket or distribution board to equipment racks, lighting positions, backline or front-of-house some distance away. Stage Plus is AV Distribution's South African house brand of locally assembled cables, built to order from branded connectors and bulk cable, so rental companies, event crews, churches and installers can buy tested, ready-made leads of a specific length. Always observe the current rating of the connectors and cable, do not exceed the load the circuit is designed for, and have mains leads inspected regularly. The exact plug and socket gender at each end is as specified by the supplier.
