This Stage Plus premade video cable (SP-CABV4NBNCWU130.5S) is a short 0.5 m 75-ohm coaxial lead terminated with a Neutrik NBNC75BXU13X BNC male connector at each end, assembled by Stage Plus in South Africa on black Sommer Cable Vector Plus video coax (the supplier listing names it 'Vector Plus DZ'). It is used for SDI video between cameras, switchers, recorders, converters, routers and monitors, and the short length suits patching inside a rack or between devices on the same shelf. Neutrik's NBNC75BXU13X is a crimp-termination 75-ohm BNC plug for 7.3 mm outer-diameter cable, designed for high-resolution UHD (4K/8K) signals, with Neutrik's rearTWIST design for better return loss at high frequencies. Neutrik quotes return loss of better than 23 dB (VSWR 1.6 or less) up to 6 GHz and performance to 18 GHz. The shell is brass with antraloy plating and the centre contact is gold-cobalt plated.
