This Stage Plus premade video cable is a 5 m black 75-ohm coaxial lead fitted with a Neutrik NBNC75BXU13X BNC connector on both ends, made up with Vector Plus DZ video cable. 75-ohm BNC leads are the standard connection for SDI digital video (SD, HD and 3G/12G-SDI depending on cable and equipment), as well as analogue video, timecode, reference and word-clock signals in broadcast, live production and AV installations. Using genuine 75-ohm Neutrik BNC connectors matched to 75-ohm video cable keeps the signal path impedance-correct, which matters for reliable high-bandwidth SDI transmission over distance. A 5 m length is typical for connecting cameras, switchers, recorders, monitors and converters within a control room, camera position or flight-cased rack. Stage Plus is AV Distribution's South African house brand of locally assembled cables, built to order from branded connectors and bulk cable, so broadcasters, streaming teams, churches, rental companies and installers can buy ready-made leads in the length they need rather than terminating their own. Check that your equipment and cable run length suit the SDI standard you intend to use.
