Sunix DPAS04HP0 DevicePort Advanced mode ethernet enabled with WiFi support - 4x Powered serial/RS-232 over ethernet ( 2xRJ45 ) , upstream+downstream with daisy chain support upto 255x serial ports , auto-detect & port-mapping , 115 Kbps , sunix DPL2000Q chipset , 121x81.9x27mm , 15KV ESD protection + 8KV IEC1000-4-2 Contact Discharge + 4KV line-to-line protection , powered by USB - to prevent on-line spy recording, DevicePort Dock Mode limits specific ethernet port connection to PC ( not directly on router or switch )
The Sunix DPAS04HP0 DevicePort is an industrial device server: it takes 4 serial (RS-232) ports and extends them over two RJ45 Ethernet connections, with upstream/downstream daisy-chaining supporting up to 255 serial ports across a chain, auto-detect port mapping, and Wi-Fi support in its Advanced mode. It runs on Sunix's own DPL2000Q chipset, is USB-powered, and its "Dock Mode" deliberately restricts the Ethernet port to a direct PC connection rather than a router/switch, to prevent line-spy recording. Sunix's own site could not be independently reached this session to confirm beyond the supplier's listed specification.
