The Sunix DPSS04H00 DevicePort works in a device-sharing mode, letting connected serial peripherals be switched between multiple host PCs: it extends 4 serial (RS-232) ports over two RJ45 Ethernet connections, with daisy-chain support for up to 255 serial ports, auto-detect port mapping, speeds up to 115 Kbps, and Wi-Fi support. It uses Sunix's DPL2000Q chipset and is USB-powered. Sunix's own site could not be independently reached this session to confirm beyond the supplier's listed specification.
