The Surefire Portus X1 is a foldable laptop stand with RGB lighting, built to raise a laptop up off the desk to a more ergonomic viewing height and typing angle while folding flat for easy transport when not in use. Raising the screen closer to eye level helps reduce neck strain during long sessions compared with typing on a laptop sitting flat on the desk, and most stands in this class also improve underside airflow simply by lifting the chassis clear of the desk surface, complementing (though not replacing) a dedicated active cooling pad. The RGB lighting is a purely aesthetic addition aimed at gamers who want their laptop stand to visually match the rest of an RGB desk setup, typically running along the stand's base or frame and USB-powered from the laptop itself. Being foldable makes it a practical choice for anyone moving between a home desk and a coffee shop, LAN event or office rather than a permanently fixed setup. Surefire's own manufacturer site wasn't independently locatable this session, so exact height-adjustment range and maximum load rating aren't claimed.
