It's a genuinely compact unit for a thru-hull camera - a 3.5" face diameter, just 0.32" of external profile, and a 5.35" shaft length - and installs into a 2-1/4" (57mm) perpendicular hole drilled through GRP (fibreglass) or wooden hulls. A key practical feature is the interchangeable element: the actual camera/lens module can be serviced or replaced from inside the vessel, without hauling the boat out of the water, a meaningful saving in cost and downtime versus a camera that requires dry-dock access to service. It includes an automatic low-light mode for improved visibility in darker water, and runs on 9-15 VDC. This is aimed at sport boats, cruisers, yachts and superyachts wanting a permanent view of the hull, propeller, rudder or surrounding water - for docking assistance, diver/swim safety, or simply monitoring what's happening below the waterline.
