The Toshiba HDEB038GEA51F is a 20TB 3.5-inch Enterprise Capacity MG Series hard drive for cloud-scale and business storage: servers, multi-bay NAS units, backup appliances and surveillance recorders that run all day, every day. Esquire lists it as part of the current MG11 generation, which Toshiba builds with a helium-sealed, 10-disk design and Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording (FC-MAMR) while keeping conventional magnetic recording (CMR), so it behaves predictably in RAID arrays and during rebuilds. It runs at 7,200 rpm over SATA 6Gb/s. Toshiba rates the whole MG Series for 24/7 duty, a 550 TB/year workload and 2.5 million hours MTTF, about ten times the workload of a desktop drive.
