The TP-Link Omada EAP215-Bridge KIT is a pre-paired pair of 5GHz outdoor bridge units for linking two buildings, a gate camera, a farm workshop or a remote office back to the main network without trenching cable. Each unit has internal 2x2 dual-polarised directional MIMO antennas rated at 14dBi, with a 43° horizontal and 18° vertical beam, and TP-Link quotes up to 5 km of point-to-point range at a link rate of up to 867Mbps on 802.11ac. Three Gigabit Ethernet ports per unit let you pass through PoE or feed a switch or camera at the far end, and a DIP switch sets each side as the main AP or the client. The IP65 enclosure, lightning protection and a -40 °C to 70 °C operating range suit South African rooftops and poles, and pole-mounting hardware is included. Units power from 12V DC, 802.3af PoE or 24V passive PoE (11.5W maximum) and can be managed through the Omada app, software or hardware controller, with SNMP, SSH and zero-touch provisioning.
