The TP-Link RE315 is a plug-in AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi range extender for fixing dead zones in bedrooms, back rooms, garages or outside rooms where your router's signal can't reach. It repeats your existing network on both bands at up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, using two external antennas. It is EasyMesh-compatible, so paired with an EasyMesh router it forms a mesh network with one Wi-Fi name and smart roaming between router and extender. Adaptive Path Selection automatically uses the fastest link back to the router. A smart signal indicator LED helps you find the best spot to plug it in, and setup is a WPS button press or the TP-Link Tether app. There is also a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port for a wired device such as a smart TV or console, and an AP mode that turns a wired connection into a new Wi-Fi hotspot.
